明日から11月。

大阪マラソンまであと25日。

もう4週間を切りました。

初心者ランナーの皆さん、大事なレースの前にはレースで最高の走りが出来るように「調整する」ってことをご存知ですか？

今月書店で発売されているランニング雑誌「クリール12月号」にもこの調整についてのページを担当させていただきました。

調整、テーパリングとも言いますが分かりやすく言うと「仕上げ」です。

途中の過程は「うわー、こりゃやばいー！」という状態でも残り数週間で何とか格好つけられるように、体裁整えよう、ま、例えがちょっと適切じゃないですが(^_^;)、42km何とか走りきれるように最後の詰めを行う事、それが調整です。

蛇足ですがテーパーかけるって金型用語では先端にかけて細くする、とか円柱もんでも先ほど角度ついて細くなってるってってことなんですが、要するに先細くして持てる力を集めていくってイメージでしょうか。

前置きながく恐縮ですが、とにかくレース一週間くらい前までにフルマラソンが何とか完走できるように、から記録を狙えるように、までいい状態に仕上げようというわけです。

今月はさすがに練習しなきゃ話になりませんが、ここまでこのメニューを参考にしてくださった方々は頑張るのも11日まで。

あんまりがんばれなかった人もとりあえず18日くらいまででその先練習の量は減らしていってください。

ここまでほとんど練習していない人、「とにかくいっぺん40kmがどんなもんか経験しとくか」こういう無茶はやめておきましょう。

今まで短時間大汗かいてふーふーはーはー速く走ってきた人。

練習は短い距離をはぁはぁ言いながら速く走る、これだけでは練習した気はしてもマラソンの完走にはほとんど役立ちません。

呼吸は楽でもいいので腰から下が重ーくなる、上半身は元気なのにもう一歩も走れません、に近い状態を今週、来週くらいは経験しましょう（最低2時間くらい）。


今月は飲み会に誘われても「悪い、俺ちょっと大阪に向けて最後の調整に入ってるから」こういって相手をけむに巻いて今月だけは誘惑に打ち勝って練習しましょう(^o^)。
